
Hugh Weber is a Director of DAK Holdings and Chief Executive Officer of OEG Sports & Entertainment (OEGSE).
As CEO of OEGSE, Weber leads the organization’s integrated sports, entertainment and real estate businesses, including the Edmonton Oilers, Bakersfield Condors, Edmonton Oil Kings, Rogers Place, ICE District, live entertainment and event operations, media and content, and the continued development of ICE District. In his role as CEO, Weber reports directly to Oilers owner and Chairman Daryl Katz and serves as an Alternate Governor on the NHL Board of Governors. Weber works closely with CEO of Hockey Operations, Jeff Jackson and Oilers General Manager Stan Bowman, as well as President of parent company DAK Holdings, Brad Gilewich.
A respected sports industry executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience, Weber has built a reputation for driving business growth, innovation and organizational excellence. Prior to joining OEGSE, he served as President of Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC. He previously held senior leadership roles with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, including as President of the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center and later President of the parent organization whose portfolio included the Philadelphia 76ers. Earlier in his career, Weber served as President of the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets.
